Believing in Shiva – The Lord of the Cosmos

Article View Count: : 179

I am yet to experience the kundalini awakening moment but, I believe that when someone has no one left, he has the divine Lord Shiva with him. I believe that the Lord tries to stay close to his devotees wherever they go and it is something that I have experienced or may be you have too. I will leave that to the readers to comment and share their spiritual experiences.

In Hinduism, Bhagwan Shiv is one among the Trinity dieties who is worshipped in various forms as the supreme God.

The Shakti (power) is mostly referred as Aadiyogi, Vishwanatha, Uma Pati , Trilokinatha (Lord of 3 universe), Bholenatha (denotes his simplicity, innocence), Pashupatinatha, Mahakaleshwara , Mahadeva. He is worshipped in form of Shiv Lingam. This divine Almighty Shiva bears the holiest of rivers Ganga in the locks of his hair.

Shiva is the Lord of the Lords. Lord Rama worshipped him all his life. He even worshipped Lord Shiva before fighting Ravana by making Linga in Rameshwaram which is still present and worshipped as jyotirlinga. Pandavas also worshipped him during their exile period.

I believe that by chanting his name with pure heart, you will feel energized and find him guiding you in all steps of your life. Have faith and trust him.

The mighty Shiva is also called as Bholenatha , Ashutosha.

My mother always says that Shiva can be easily pleased amongst the Trinity and is very compassionate. He bestows his devotees quickly with grace and boons even if you just do a small prayer by chanting his name with full devotion. You can worship him with mere pot of water or offer bel leaves.

True Bhakti or pure love is the essence to win his blessings.
